HYDMECH’s H-18A Automatic Horizontal Band Saw cuts fast, with its high speed shuttle feed indexing up to 34″ in a single movement. Its standard split front vise delivers a short material remnant length, reducing material waste. The hydraulic full stroke vises and split front vise reduces remnant pieces to only 4″ (100mm) without bundling. This band saw features an 18″ x 18″ capacity, 10 HP motor, and 1 1/2″ blade, the H-18A is a reliable choice for all your horizontal metal cutting applications.
The H-18A features an 18″ x 18″ capacity, 10 HP motor, and 1 1/2″ blade, a fully automatic hydraulic band saw makes the H-18A a perfect choice for any metal fabrication shop. The machine base is designed and produced with electro-welded steel components for maximum rigidity and support. A 30 US gallon coolant tank are built into the base, while the leveling bolts are seated at the corners of the machine. The H-18A features a hydraulic chip auger, built directly into the base, the auger screw pulls chips from the base and discharges at side of machine.
A centrifugal pump immersed in the 30-gallon coolant reservoir delivers ample coolant flow through carbide faced and nozzle guides; directional valves are present for coolant quantity adjustment. The H-18A features a mist lubrication system providing blade lubrication and cooling. Alternative to standard flood system. This extra option can be specified during ordering and does not eliminate the standard flood coolant system.
